I bought the EH-TW5600 as recommended by our local technology provider. Despite our minimal usage, the projector developed a green tinge on the right-hand side of the screen after only 760 hours of operation, traced back to a fault in the optical engine.
The projected repair cost of $790+GST + labor essentially renders the projector worthless. While Epson boasts a 7,500-hour lamp life in ECO mode, this claim falls short when the core component fails so prematurely.
In comparison our previous Optima projector lasted 10 years with one lamp change.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend the EH-TW5600 projector due to its lack of durability and reliability. Potential buyers should be aware of these shortcomings before making a purchase.
