I had read many reviews and done a lot of research before buying this product. It is expensive and I wish it had the capacity to scan and save negatives; obviously I will need to look into another scanner for that job;
The archiving of all the family photos.
24 hours in and it certainly does all it claims to do, easy to use and very fast to scan.
The set up was easy with step by step instructions, the only difficulty I encountered was getting the wifi to connect using the WPS button on the modem, I gave up and connected using the provided USB cable, it picked up the wifi connection and I was then able to enter it in manually, once connected I was instructed to remove the cable as the connection had been made.

I am scanning and saving all the photos to a portable hard drive rather than my pc, thus enabling me to access from any suitable laptop or pc in the future.
Decisions on how to actually sort your photos is of course personal choice and I am sure that I will reconfigure a lot of the actual filing of the photographs down the track but that's another story, today and the week to come it is about getting them all scanned in a fast and effective manner, which this scanner certainly does.
